The theme of the conference is to examine research and applications in the
use of Information Technology in Regional Areas.
CALL FOR PAPERS
ITiRA will include a mixture of refereed papers as well as non-refereed case
studies and applications. Whilst seeking papers in the broad arena of IT in
regions, ITiRA will have the following major themes:

Each track will consist of a keynote address, refereed papers, support case
studies and applications. The conference is designed to attract
Researchers, Policymakers; Community Leaders; IT Project Leaders; Funders,
Government Officials and Regional Community Development Groups.
Papers can be submitted to either the referred Research Papers Section or
the Case Study and Applications Section.
Normal Research Papers will be up to 20 pages double spaced or a maximum of
6000 words.
Support papers will describe research, case studies and practical papers
around the keynote addresses as well as applications of Internet
Technologies in geo-communities.

Notification of Acceptance

Camera Ready Copy due
10 August 2001
