Eine der dabei zu meisternden Herausforderungen ist in der Beschreibung bzw. Modellierung von Produkten zu sehen. Solche Beschreibungen müssen einerseits mächtig genug sein, um den Anforderungen an eine differenzierte Auftragsanbahnung und -abwicklung zu genügen, andererseits müssen sie ein hohes Maß an Flexibilität bieten, um die große Bandbreite von Produkten abbilden zu können, die auf Handelsplattformen im Internet angeboten werden. Entsprechende konzeptionelle Modelle dienen einerseits dem Entwurf einschlägiger Informationssysteme, andererseits sind sie die Grundlage für die Spezifikation von Schnittstellen mit Hilfe dazu geeigneter Sprachen wie etwa XML. This is a reminder that the closing date is May 31, 2001. This deadline also applies four related meetings: Project 2005, the "New "Professor, HRMOB and CSCS which will be scheduled in conjunction with the 19th annual conference. Detailed submission requirements and guidelines can be found by clicking on the respective links on the directory page of the AoM/IAoM web site which resides at www.aom-iaom.org. Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged. Hotel information has also been posted on the web site. The conference and associated meetings will be held at the Radisson Gouverneur Hotel in Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
