==============================
Motivation und Zielsetzung
------------------
Die Umsetzung intersektoraler Versorgungsszenarien im Gesundheitswesen erfordert
auch die Gestaltung interorganisationaler Informationssysteme (IOIS). Hierbei
Gesundheitsnetzwerke,
Softwareanbieter und Leistungserbringer schließen sich zusammen, um
innovative Lösungen zu entwickeln. Insbesonders im Hinblick auf eine
nachhaltige IOIS-Gestaltung in intersektoralen Versorgungsszenarien
in intersektoralen Versorgungsszenarien. Der Workshop dient auch zur
Identifikation interessanter Beiträge für einen geplanten Sammelband zur
Informationssystemgestaltung in intersektoralen Versorgungsszenarien.
* Vorstellung integrierter Versorgungsszenarien mit interorganisationaler IT-Unterstützung
* Anforderungsmanagement im Rahmen integrierter Versorgunsszenarien
* Qualitätsmanagement und Evaluation integrierter Versorgungsszenarien
* Normen und Standards, Zertifizierung
* Einsatz von Enterprise Architecture Frameworks
* Strategische Planung und Gestaltung von Versorgungs-Informationssystemen

FM 2016: 21st International Symposium on Formal Methods
Limassol, Cyprus, 7-11 November 2016
http://fm2016.cs.ucy.ac.cy
*** SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS ***
IMPORTANT DATES
• Abstract submission deadline: 16 May 2016
• Full paper submission deadline: 30 May 2016
• Notification: 8 August 2016
• Camera ready: 5 September 2016
• Conference: 7-11 November 2016
FM 2016 is the latest in a series of symposia organized by Formal Methods
Europe, an independent association that encourages the use of, and research
on, formal methods for the engineering of computer-based systems and
software. The symposia have been notably successful in bringing together
researchers and industrial users around a programme of original papers on
research and industrial experience, workshops, tutorials, reports on tools,
projects, and ongoing doctoral work.
SCOPE AND TOPICS
FM 2016 will highlight the development and application of formal methods
in a wide range of domains including software, computer-based systems,
systems-of-systems, human interaction, manufacturing, sustainability,
power, transport, cities, healthcare, and biology. We also welcome papers
on experiences of formal methods in industry, and on the design and
validation of formal methods tools.
FM 2016 encourages submissions on formal methods for developing and
evaluating systems that interact with physical processes, and systems that
use artificial intelligence technology. Examples include autonomous systems,
robots, and cyber-physical systems in general. Applying formal methods to
these systems of growing interest and importance is challenging because
they exhibit much greater non-determinism than traditional systems, making
them challenging to assure.
The broad topics of interest for FM 2016 include, but are not limited to:
• Interdisciplinary formal methods: Techniques, tools and experiences
demonstrating formal methods in interdisciplinary frameworks.
• Formal methods in practice: Industrial applications of formal methods,
experience with formal methods in industry, tool usage reports, experiments
with challenge problems. Authors are encouraged to explain how formal
methods overcame problems, led to improved designs, or provided new
insights.
• Tools for formal methods: Advances in automated verification and
model-checking, tools integration, environments for formal methods, and
experimental validation of tools. Authors are encouraged to demonstrate
empirically that the new tool or environment advances the state of the art.
• Role of formal methods in software and systems engineering:
Development processes with formal methods, usage guidelines for formal
methods, and method integration. Authors are encouraged to evaluate
process innovations with respect to qualitative or quantitative improvements.
Empirical studies and evaluations are also solicited.
• Theoretical foundations: All aspects of theory related to specification,
verification, refinement, and static and dynamic analysis. Authors are
encouraged to explain how their results contribute to the solution of
practical problems with methods or tools.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
• Manfred Broy, Technical University of Munich, Germany
• Peter O'Hearn, University College London and Facebook, UK
• Jan Peleska, University of Bremen and Verified Software International, Germany
SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Papers should be original work, not published or submitted elsewhere, in
Springer LNCS format, written in English, submitted through Easychair
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fm2016).
Each paper will be evaluated by at least three members of the Programme
Committee. Authors of papers reporting experimental work are strongly
encouraged to make their experimental results available for use by reviewers.
Similarly, case study papers should describe significant case studies and the
complete development should be made available at the time of review. The
usual criteria for novelty, reproducibility, correctness and the ability for
others to build upon the described work apply. Tool papers should explain
enhancements made compared to previously published work. A tool paper
need not present the theory behind the tool but should focus more on the
tool’s features, how it is used, its evaluation, and examples and screen shots
illustrating the tool’s use. Authors of tool papers should make their tool
available for use by reviewers.
We solicit two categories of papers:
• Regular Papers should not exceed 15 pages, not counting references
and appendices.
• Short papers, including tool papers, should not exceed 6 pages, not
counting references and appendices. Besides tool papers, short papers are
encouraged for any subject that can be described within the page limit, and
in particular for novel ideas without an extensive experimental evaluation.
Short papers will be accompanied by short presentations.
For regular and tool papers, an appendix can provide additional material such
as details on proofs or experiments. The appendix is not part of the page
count and not guaranteed to be read or taken into account by the reviewers.
It should not contain information necessary to the understanding and the
evaluation of the presented work. Papers will be accepted or rejected in the
category in which they were submitted—there will be no “demotions” from a
regular to a short paper.
BEST PAPER AWARD
During the conference, the Programme Committee Chairs will present an
award to the authors of the submission selected as the FM 2016 Best Paper.
PUBLICATION
Accepted papers will be published in the Symposium Proceedings to appear
in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Extended versions of
selected papers will be invited for publication in a special issue of one or
more journals.
LOCATION
FM 2016 is organized by the University of Cyprus and will take place at St.
Raphael Resort, Limassol, Cyprus.

===========================================
*Overview*
-----------------------------------------------------------
The widespread distribution of mobile devices as well as the massive
availability of mobile apps has created innovative opportunities for
teaching and learning in both general and special education. Special
education here means “specially designed instruction, at no cost to the
parents, to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability,
including: (i) Instruction conducted in the classroom, in the home, in
hospitals and institutions, and in other settings; and (ii) Instruction
in physical education” (20 U.S.C. 1401(29)). This framework concerns
every type of disability, physical as well as cognitive, from autism to
speech/language and hearing impairments.
Mobile Learning has the potential to positively impact special education
for at least three key reasons. First, it allows and promotes the use
of multi-sensorial inputs able to overcome possible problems of
communication, improving the resulting capacity of comprehension.
Second, the personalized support offered by mobile technology is
especially important for a child with special needs, who usually
requires individualized support. Third, the cooperative dimension that
mobile devices can create through their dynamics is a key-front in
disability studies.
Although research has supported mobile learning, the field lacks a
significant body of research in the use of mobile devices and
applications for supporting students in special education. This is
not to discredit existing studies; however, the field needs more
research (theoretical and empirical) to further support researchers,
designers, teachers, parents, teacher educators, etc.
In light of these considerations, the special issue on Mobile Learning
and Special Education aims to stimulate proposals from researchers,
developers and educators. Suggestions from Special Education and
Educational Technology fields are particularly encouraged. However, the
issue addresses also scholars and practitioners from Design, Art and
Computer Sciences in order to stimulate creative efforts able to push
beyond the frontiers of the topic. Finally, experts from disciplines
like Game Studies, Media Studies and STS (Science and Technology
Studies) are welcome due to related contribution in terms of engagement,
cultural analysis and oriented social/technological infrastructures. .
-----------------------------------------------------------
*Topics of Interests*
-----------------------------------------------------------
We welcome papers on any of the following topics, and related ones:
• Mobile development (programming, development, production, promotion)
toward special education
• Special education teaching and learning based on mobile apps and
infrastructures for disability categories
• Assessment of the experience of the user with a disability (ID,
usability, etc.)
• Technology-mediated social patterns concerning special needs

CALL FOR PAPERS
===============
21st EURAS Annual Standardisation Conference
'Co-opetition and Open Innovation'
29 June - 1 July 2016
Montpellier, France
Organised by
The European Academy for Standardisation (EURAS)
University of Montpellier
***Submission Deadline: 21 February 2016***
To survive and to create value in today's hypercompetitive and turbulent international business environment firms have to develop new approaches. Some of these approaches involve a certain level of co-operation with competitors. Even otherwise fierce competitors such as Samsung and Sony collaborated on a new LCD television standard and for some time the Symbian Foundation had Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola among its members. Today, companies like Airbus, Dassault and Safran Thales use collaboration platforms to foster innovation based on the contributions of the individual partners. Scholars have developed new concepts to describe, analyse and optimize these strategic inter-firm relations.
'Open innovation' describes a situation in which a firm collaborates with its customers, suppliers, distributors, institutional partners and even competitors to innovate. 'Co-opetition' refers to a strategy where firms collaborate with competitors. In both cases, standards frequently play a crucial role. For one, they define inter-firm process, common interfaces and languages. More interestingly, to influence or even control standards in a certain field may well be the sole reason for co-opetition. In standards setting (potential) competitors, allies and third parties share knowledge to contribute to a new standard. From the perspective of Co-opetition and Open Innovation this environment offers a wide variety of aspects for standardisation researchers. These range from e.g. the role of standards in (multi-)national regulation, in technology and innovation management and in business strategy via knowledge and IPR management to conflict management and the theory of social capital.
EURAS 2016 solicits papers on the above theme. However, papers on other standardisation topics will also be considered. Sample topics include:
* Co-opetition and standards
* Open innovation and standards
* Standardisation as a policy tool
* Standards and barriers to trade
* National or international policy and standardisation
* Standardisation and Europe's research and innovation agenda
* Relationship between standardisation and legislation

Betreff: [AISWorld] SPECIAL ISSUE ON Big Data Analytics in Operations
Management and Supply Chain of the Annals of Operations Research
(Extended April 15, 2016)
Datum: Sat, 13 Feb 2016 21:37:08 +0000

********************* CALL FOR PAPERS *********************
SPECIAL ISSUE ON Big Data Analytics in Operations Management and Supply Chain of the Annals of Operations Research (Extended April 15, 2016)
Introduction:
Big data analytics (BDA) is defined as a holistic approach to manage, process and analyze the “5 Vs” data-related dimensions (i.e., volume, variety, velocity, veracity and value) in order to create actionable insights for sustained value delivery, measuring performance and establishing competitive advantages (Fosso Wamba, Akter et al. 2015). Some scholars and practitioners even suggest that BDA is the “fourth paradigm of science” (Strawn 2012, p.34), or even “the next frontier for innovation, competition, and productivity” (Manyika, Chui et al. 2011, p.1), or the “new paradigm of knowledge assets” (Hagstrom 2012, p. 2). These statements are mainly driven by the pervasive adoption and use of BDA-enabled tools, technologies and infrastructure including social media, mobile device), automatic identification technologies enabling the Internet of Things, and cloud-enabled platforms to support intra- and inter-organizational operations to achieve competitive advantage. For example, BDA allows improved data-driven decision making and innovative ways to organise, learn and innovate (Yiu 2012; Kiron 2013), and thus, reinforcing customer relationship management, improving the management of operations risk, enhancing operational efficiency and overall firm performance (Kiron 2013). Hence, there is need for revisiting existing theories in operation management and supply chain management with data powered by 5Vs. Apart from technological efficiencies, Operations research models are the foundation to analyse big data and extract right information for making more accurate and timely decisions. Therefore, a special issue on big data analytics in operations management and supply chain would encourage scholars to promote and disseminate research on the role of operations research models in big data analytics.
Objectives:
The aim of this special issue of the Annals of Operations Research is to attract manuscripts which are firmly grounded in operations management and supply chain theories, using BDA to create new business opportunities, to support suitable supply design and operations in the 21st century, improve performance, and gain sustainable competitive advantage. These findings will also provide some implications of BDA on operations management and supply chain management practices and strategies.
Recommended Topics:
The topics to be discussed in this special issue include but are not limited to the following:
• Operations research models for big data analytics in supply chain management
• BDA-enabled business analytics at the plant location , organizational, and supply chain levels
• In-depth & longitudinal case studies and pilot studies on the implementation of IT infrastructure to support big data initiatives for improved operations management, lean & agile operations, quality management in operations and supply chain management
• New theory development to explain the adoption and use of BDA in operations at the organizational and inter-organizational levels
• Empirical studies assessing the business value of BDA in terms of quality management, new products and services design, improved internal and supply chain operations capabilities
• Revisit current institutional theory, resource dependence theory, transaction cost economics theory, agency theory, resource based view theory and ecological modernization theory using BDA
• Exploring social capital theory using BDA in supply chain network design
• Redefining supply chain coordination mechanism using social actors network theory supported by big data
• Building robust supply chain risk model using BDA
• Assessing the impact of BDA on performance measurement systems in operation management and supply chain
• Assessing the impact of BDA on predictive maintenance for industrial products
