The library now contains 3,933 references of predominantly English-language, peer-reviewed work in the study domains of disaster information and information technologies and their uses in the context of disasters. This represents an increase over the previous version of 423 references, or 11.4%. The DIRL release history<http://faculty.washington.edu/jscholl/dirl/history.php> reveals that from the inaugural DIRL version 1.0 to this version (DIRL v. 4.0), the peer-reviewed academic literature has almost quadrupled in the course of little over four years. This is a remarkable increase of the body of academic knowledge in the particular area of disaster information management and disaster information technology within a relatively short period of time. The DIRL is intended to become an indispensable tool for Disaster Information and Technology-interested scholars. In particular, reviewers of paper submissions may want to rely on this reference library. Compliance has been a relevant topic in Information Systems Research (ISR) for several decades, whose initial focus was primarily on the (semi-)automated support in ensuring and validating rule conformity [3–5]. The Second International Workshop on Current Compliance Issues in Information Systems Research (CIISR 2022) will take place on 20 February 2022, in conjunction with the 17th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI2022). Based on the conference’s central theme– “Grand Challenges for Business Informatic“ –the workshop will discuss current compliance issues with high relevance to the ISR area. Nowadays, compliance is approached from a variety of different perspectives. For instance, as part of information security management, it is examined which operational compliance measures result in desired employee behavior [6, 7]. In the context of cloud computing, it is examined how compliance with service level agreements can be ensured in hybrid cloud architectures [8, 9]. In the context of business process management, it is examined how automation can be achieved by means of deep learning and thus contribute to compliance with quality management standards [10]. In addition, it is examined how the compliance of business processes can be ensured sustainably and economically in digitalized and electronic markets [11–13]. These and many other current aspects of compliance are discussed at the CIISR workshop. The workshop offers scientists, practitioners, and further interested parties, a basic program including three speeches on current compliance issues in information security, cloud computing, and business process management. Furthermore, we cordially invite you to submit and present your completed research papers, short papers, or extended abstracts relevant to the workshop topic. We welcome practical contributions, empirical studies, systematic literature analyses, as well as research papers following the design science research paradigm. Format of CIISR * Tba The target group of the CIISR workshop includes academics whose research focus is on current compliance issues, practitioners working in the field of compliance, and all other interested parties. On the one hand, the workshop serves to discuss current trends and new research results by and with (senior) representatives from science and practice. On the other hand, the workshop aims to give young scientists and doctoral students the opportunity to present early research results. Interested participants can also register for participation in the workshop without submitting a contribution. Submission Types, Submission Instructions, and Formalities We welcome submissions to the CIISR workshop on the above-mentioned topics written in English. For this purpose, we offer three submission types: 1. Completed research papers/complete practical reports This submission type includes both advanced research with at least partial evaluation and comprehensive practical contributions. 2. Short papers (research in progress papers/short practical reports) Short papers represent ongoing research or ongoing practical projects. In addition to presenting initial results, these papers should also contain an outlook on further research or further project progress, including planned future work steps. 3. Extended abstracts Extended abstracts present and discuss high-quality results of already published contributions (or dissertations/postdoctoral theses) relevant to the workshop topic. Completed research contributions and complete practical reports must not exceed 12 pages, short papers must not exceed six pages, and extended abstracts must not exceed four pages, including title, abstract, bibliography, author details, and acknowledgments. Possible appendices are not included in the pagination! Therefore, the authors’ names, affiliations and bibliographic references should not be included in the version for evaluation by the Program Committee. This information should only be included in the camera-ready version, saved in Word or Latex format and also in PDF format. These files must be accompanied by the Consent to Publish form filled out, in a ZIP file, and uploaded at the conference management system. All papers will be subjected to a “double-blind review” by at least two members of the Program Committee. Based on Program Committee evaluation, a paper can be rejected or accepted by the Conference Chairs. In the later case, it can be accepted as the type originally submitted or as another type. Thus, full papers can be accepted as short papers or poster papers only. Similarly, short papers can be accepted as poster papers only. Poster papers and Company papers are not published in the Conference Proceedings, being only presented and discussed. The authors of accepted poster papers should build and print a poster to be exhibited during the Conference. This poster must follow an A1 or A2 vertical format. The Conference includes Work Sessions where these posters are presented and orally discussed, with a 7 minute limit per poster. The authors of accepted Full papers will have 15 minutes to present their work in a Conference Work Session; approximately 5 minutes of discussion will follow each presentation. The authors of accepted Short papers and Company papers will have 11 minutes to present their work in a Conference Work Session; approximately 4 minutes of discussion will follow each presentation. PUBLICATION & INDEXING To ensure that a full paper or short paper is published, poster paper or company paper is presented, at least one of the authors must be fully registered by the 8nd of January 2022, and the paper must comply with the suggested layout and page-limit. Additionally, all recommended changes must be addressed by the authors before they submit the camera-ready version. No more than one paper per registration will be published. An extra fee must be paid for publication of additional papers, with a maximum of one additional paper per registration. Call for Papers GIS can play a key role in improving sustainability by collecting and managing data and analyzing these data integrated (or overlaid) with other types of data, such as demographic data. For example, GIS can improve supply chain logistics and transportation management by identifying eco-routes and eco-efficient supply chains. GIS can also serve as a common platform that integrates people, processes, things, environments, and data about them and, thereby, generate insights for sustainable development. Spatial data comprise much of the data that organizations collect (so-called big data). Thus, we posit that organizational adoption of sustainability strategies necessitates models that incorporate location data regarding environmental processes and impacts, location information about causes and effects, and knowledge sharing about what works, what does not, why, and where. We also postulate that sustainability requires organizations to build up a common platform to collect, analyze, and share geo-referenced data on the environment. Manuscripts are solicited focusing on conceptual model, theory, methodology, applications, behavioral studies, and case studies with regard to emerging opportunities and challenges for the role of digital innovation associated with GIS for sustainability. Manuscripts on a variety of topics related to the broader realm of GIS applications in organizations and government, e.g., renewable energy and green IT, and green IS, are welcome in the following areas: Potential topics (not limited to topics listed below): * Emerging opportunities and issues for sustainability and digital innovation * Digital innovation with GIS for sustainability * Location-aware IoT for sustainability * Location-aware AI for sustainability * Sustainability with spatial decision support * Social media location analytics for sustainability * Role of location for sustainability in the collaborative (or sharing) economy * Mobile-based location analytics and applications for sustainability * Use of GIS and location analytics for sustainability in nonprofit organizations. * Country-level studies for sustainability with the use of location analytics and GIS. * GIS and renewable energy development, use, and disposal * GIS and sustainable economic development * GIS and sustainable villages, cities, societies * Green IS and the role of location * Environmentally friendly IT and the role of location Authors are encouraged to clearly identify and articulate the role of location or place in the research questions.
