Dear Colleagues:
We invite scholars and practitioners to submit proposals for workshops and tutorials for AMCIS 2014. The theme of AMCIS 2014 is "SMART SUSTAINABILITY: the Information Systems Opportunity." We invite proposals that reflect this theme or any other topics that would be of interest to IS scholars and practitioners.
The workshops and tutorials typically take place on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 4.45 pm. as half-day or full-day sessions. If you are interested in offering a workshop or Tutorial on more than one day please consult with the co-chairs of workshops and tutorials.

Descriptions of Workshops:
We welcome workshopsoffered by both scholars and practitioners that facilitate discussions and explorations of: (i) AMCIS 2014 Theme - SMART SUSTAINABILITY: the Information Systems Opportunity, (ii) ideas, techniques and methodologies to advance research or teaching in MIS, or (iii) IS-related concepts and/or products from industry and their application to academia or educational curricula.
Descriptions of Tutorials:
We welcome tutorials offered by both scholars and practitioners that offer training in, or a comprehensive understanding of, an emerging field or a state-of-the-art topic in MIS.
