Hi Christoph!

wonderful, thank you!
Also I wanted to ask, if you have the possibility to attend the Edinburgh meeting on 19-20 Mar? https://mydata.org/edinburgh-meeting
It would be great to welcome at least one member from the Austrian hub at the meeting :)

Looking forward hearing from you!
All the best!

Congratulations on officially setting up your MyData hub!

As a follow up, we’d like to inform you about some important practicalities, get updated on specific details, as well as invite you to the Edinburgh meeting on 18-20 March 2019.

1. Exact name

Please reply to this email, stating your exact name you’re planning to use for your hub - “MyData <country/city>” is preferred, though we’re open for other options as well.

2. Email alias

You have an email alias austria@mydata.org which is directed to
info@mydatahub.at

Would you like to make any changes to the recipients list?
3. MyData graphics & hub logos

We encourage you to demonstrate your affiliation with MyData Global by a reference shown online as well as on printed matters, e.g. "<<Initiative’s name>> is affiliated with MyData Global" including an embedded or visible link to mydata.org. This may be complemented with the "MyData Wheel" logo available at mydata.org/media. Using the MyData Global logos without a reference or link to MyData Global is not permitted.

We have also created hub-specific logos, which you can find from this folder.

4. Promoting MyData & MyData Global’s membership

Now that you are approved, we encourage you to recruit new members to MyData Global. New members can direct 50% of their membership fee to your hub’s activities/account!

Many of you have also expressed your wish for shared marketing materials - we’re working on it!

1. You can find & re-use some of our presentations from this folder

2. You can also share these basic links:

5. Other available tools & resources available for you are described at Initiatives Collaboration Guidebook.

Last, but not least…

  • Are you coming to MyData Global Community meeting in Edinburgh on 19-20 March 2019? We will workshop on both days, and finish off with a general meeting on 20th. We think you should be there :)
Register to the meeting
  • We also encourage organising a local get together for the general meeting and join the meeting as a group! It is a great opportunity to join everybody globally, and also engage new members to the network!

Please let me know via sille@mydata.org or @sille in Slack, if you plan to do so!

Best wishes,

Sille Sepp
