I have just had the time to read the ESR; indeed the score is high, and only a few minor points are mentioned “en passant”, quite likely synthesized at the level of the panel decision. It seems a rejection for the exhaustion of funds vs the number of good projects submitted.
On this ground, the great work done by the consortium deserves a second try, and UL is surely in favor of this line of action.
