= Aims and Scope =
The Web are ever-increasing in size and involving a quite broad range of technologies such as databases, XML and digital contents, data and Web mining, Web services, semantic Web and ontology, information retrieval, and others. WCMT 2009 will be held in conjunction with WAIM/APWeb 2009 conference and invites original research contribution on XML, Web, and Internet contents technologies. WCMT 2009 aims at bringing together researchers in different fields related to Web information processing who have a common interest in interdisciplinary research. The workshop provides a forum where researchers and practitioners can share and exchange their knowledge and experience.

The WCMT 2009 topics include but are certainly not limited to the following areas:
* Contents modeling and organization
* XML and semi-structured data management for content processing
* Requirements elicitation, design, and implementation of web-based content management systems
* Contents-based workflow management and workflow for contents development
* Multimedia information retrieval on the Web
* Web contents mining
* Service-oriented architecture for contents management
* Semantic Web and ontology for contents management
* Content integration, sharing, and distribution on the Web
* Privacy, security, and intellectual property of web contents
* Contents management for mobile and ubiquitous computing
* Context / location sensitive / intelligent content recommendation
* Enterprise contents management and customer relationship management
* Contents management for e-Learning
* Performance, quality of service, and reliability issues
We strongly encourage submission of papers bridging the research in different fields and promoting mutual exchange and understanding of cross-field research results.
= Publication and Submission Details =
All papers accepted by WAIM/APWeb�09 workshops will be published in a combined volume of Lecturer Notes in Computer Science series published by Springer. All submissions should be in English. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one author will attend the workshop to present the work. Papers should not exceed 12 pages in LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format
