-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: [AISWorld] CFP: Book Chapters for "Applied Quantum Theory in Information Sciences" Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2018 12:12:10 -0400 From: Meghann L. Drury-Grogan mdrury@fordham.edu To: aisworld@lists.aisnet.org
Dear Colleagues,
I am contacting you about submitting a chapter proposal to the new book I am co-editing with Olaf Cames from the University of Liverpool, entitled *Applied Quantum Theory in Information Sciences*. He and I are working on this exciting project about a new paradigm change for both practitioners and researchers in the decision sciences.
We are examining how challenges in real-world problems can be better analyzed and studied using general quantum theory in the fields of cognition and decision making. For example, IT projects often fail and the decision support systems do not provide adequate support to avoid failure. Our project examines the development of a new quantitative method and system for actual project teams to apply that better defines the parameters associated with project failure. In this way, we can intercept these parameters before project failure occurs. This would save time and money, as well as prevent researcher bias by having an external researcher following around these project teams.
If you are researching business administration, finances, game theory, decision sciences, cognitive science, psychology, marketing, genetics and economy, please see our attached CFP for the book chapter proposal with the following important dates:
*May 15, 2018*: 1st Proposal Submission Deadline *May 31, 2018*: 2nd Proposal Submission Deadline *July 15, 2018:* Notification of Acceptance *August 31, 2018*: Full Chapter Submission *October 15, 2018*: Review Results Returned *November 15, 2018:* Final Acceptance Notification *December 6, 2018*: Final Chapter Submission
