******************** Final CALL FOR WORKSHOPS *********************
--- RefsQ 2010 ---
The 16th International Working Conference on Requirements Engineering: Foundation for Software Quality Essen (Germany), June 30 - July 2, 2010 http://www.refsq.org
Workshop submission deadline: January 29, 2010 (extended) *******************************************************************
Since 1994, when the first RefsQ took place, Requirements Engineering (RE) continued to be a dominant factor influencing the quality of software, systems and services. The RefsQ working conference series has now established itself as one of the leading international forums to discuss RE in its (many) relations to quality.
RefsQ 2010 seeks reports of novel ideas and techniques that enhance the quality of software products and processes, as well as reflections on current research and industrial RE practices.
In the past, RefsQ has been organised in conjunction with other conferences, mainly the International Conference for Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE). In 2010 RefsQ will be a stand-alone conference for the first time, which provides the opportunity for a broader range of activities such as workshops and posters.
Researchers are invited to submit workshop proposals to be included in the RefsQ 2010 Workshop Program. Workshops are intended to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences between researchers and industry, and to stimulate discussions on new and emerging issues in line with the conference topics. Workshops may discuss novel and visionary ideas or may even be devoted to issues such as applications, standardization and curriculum development.
Please submit your workshop proposal to the RefsQ Workshop Chair, Andreas Gehlert (andreas.gehlert@sse.uni-due.de), no later than Friday, January 29, 2010. Submissions should be made by e-mail (Postscript, PDF, or ASCII) with "RefsQ Workshop Submission" in the subject header. Each workshop proposal should include:
* Title of the workshop. * Name, affiliation, address and e-mail address of the proposer(s). * Provisional list of PC members. * Length of the workshop (full or half day). * A statement of the goals for the workshop. * A brief description of the topic of the workshop plus a short description on how the workshop will be advertised to ensure a sufficiently wide range of authors and participants. * A list of workshop topics. * An outline of the paper submission and selection process. * An explanation of any plans for publishing the workshop contributions. * A brief CV of the proposer(s) including his/her/their experiences in organising workshops. * A list of past versions of the workshop, including dates, organizers and website (if any).
