The conference will cover current and important organizational, : technical, and curriculum issues in Information Systems. The symposium : invites manuscript submissions and proposals for panels, curriculum : development sessions, tutorials, workshops, and demonstrations. Accepted : manuscripts will be published in proceedings. : To facilitate the organization of topics and events at the symposium, : submissions will be accepted in three separate categories: completed : research, research-in-progress, and posters. Best papers will be awarded : at the symposium. Doctoral students are strongly encouraged to submit : their work. : In an effort to promote research from the Maryland area, selected, : expanded papers will be considered for publication in Expert Systems with : Applications: An International Journal and Interactive Learning : Environments among others. The topics for these special issues will be : determined based on the quality and quantity of submissions for the : various topic areas. : Papers should be submitted electronically to the symposium co-chairs.
