A meeting of the directors of Centers for the Study and Research in Electronic Commerce is scheduled to be held during the 15th Bled Electronic Commerce Conference "e-Reality: Constructing the e-Economy" in Bled, Slovenia, June 17 - 19, 2002. This will be the sixth year in a row that such a meeting has been held as a part of the Bled Conference.

The Research Directors Meeting provides a forum to discuss recent developments in Electronic Commerce, to explore linkages between research and teaching, to present current research programs, to address common problems, issues and concerns, and to identify potential cooperation partners.

Please let both of us know if you plan to attend, and if you have specific program items you would like to have placed on the agenda. Please submit such suggestions no later than March 15, 2002. A time slot of approximately three hours has been reserved. Also, please send a one page description of your center by May 2 to Rolf Wigand. Descriptions of EC Research Centers from around the world will be published as part of the conference proceedings, as well as on a still to be designated website. Don't miss this opportunity to inform others about your center!
