We have a very strong programme of papers, panels and case studies, based around the following research tracks: * Globalization, localization and regional initiatives * IS in the information society * New models of IS research based on interdisciplinary cooperation * Implications of technology convergence for IS theory and practice * IT innovation and impact on industry structures * Innovative models of cooperation in systems development * Knowledge intensive organizations: structures and forms of cooperation * Economics of the digital economy * E-government * IS skills and learning: demand and supply * IS strategy and organizational change
In addition, there is an extensive programme of meetings concerning research, teaching and liaison with industry including: * University Alliance Executive Directors Workshop * The EU Information Society Technologies R&D Programme * Regional Information Systems Academics Workshop * ASP - Application Systems Providers: The New Infrastructure? * Contributions to Practice: Consultancies and Universities
Plenary speakers include Peter G.W. Keen, Anton Zeleznikar, Howard Frank and senior managers from Deutsche Lufthansa, Nokia and Hermes-Softlab.
Earlybird registration is open now, until May 23. There is the opportunity to make a stimulating week of conferences in an idyllic setting by also attending the 14th Bled Electronic Commerce Conference.
