Submission deadline June 15, 2022
The Minitrack AI-based Assistants will be held for the third time and intends to promote the scientific exchange on AI-based assistants for the digital economy. The minitrack shall enable researchers to present and discuss innovative approaches, methodologies, models, processes, etc., to design, implement, deploy, operate and optimize AI-based assistants for the Digital Economy.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Applications and use cases of AI-based assistants * Business models and processes based on AI-based assistants * Platforms and ecosystems of AI-based assistants * Integration of AI-based assistants with services and platforms * Hardware and software technologies for AI-based assistants * Methods, models, and architectures to design and manage AI-based assistants * Innovation processes for assistant platforms * Benefits, risks, security, and trust of assistants * Social contexts and business implications * Transparency and explainability of the behavior of AI-based assistants * Collaboration of humans and AI-based assistants * Human interaction with robots to enhance learning and cognition * Digital twins and user models
Selected papers will be invited for a fast-track in Electronic Markets – The International Journal on Networked Business.

April 15 Paper submission system reopened for HICSS-56
June 15 Papers due
August 17 Notification of acceptance/rejection
September 4 Deadline for authors whose papers are conditionally accepted to submit a revised manuscript
September 22 Deadline for authors to submit final Manuscript for publication
October 1 Deadline for at least one author of each paper to register for the conference
