The landscape of higher education continues to evolve as an ever-growing number of institutions offer online education via fully online or blended programs. Enrollments in online programs of all types have risen steadily over the last decade with as many as 32% percent of all U.S college students taking at least one online course[1] <#_ftn1>.Online education may well hold keys to opening educational doors for a vast and under-served global population, however, many obstacles to efficient and effective online education remain.

We invite papers that shed insights into all aspects of online education. Empirical, theoretical, or position papers are welcome. Topics of interests include, but are not limited to, the following:
