CALL FOR PAPERS - JIKMS JOURNAL OF INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT Special issue of JIKMS on "Knowledge Management in Context and Context for Knowledge Management"
Guest Editors Frada Burstein and Henry Linger
This special issue of JIKMS, due to be published in December 2002, will be dedicated to papers exploring the role of context in knowledge management. The special issue is an outcome of the successful Australian Conference in Knowledge Management and Intelligent Decision Support (ACMIDS'2001) . Selected papers from this conference have been recommended for this special issue. In addition there is a scope for additional submissions.
The editors invite original contributions that relate to various perspectives on context and its influence in knowledge management These might include case studies; theoretical developments; or agenda-setting contributions. A particular aim for this special issue is to address the needs of practitioners as well as academics by achieving a balance between theory and practice, and exploring the space where the two meet.
The normal refereeing procedures and standards of JIKMS will apply. JIKMS is an official publication of the Information and Knowledge Management Society (iKMS). It is fully refereed academic journal. Authors are invited to submit electronic copies of their papers by
