*ICSPM2023 – Software Product Management in the Era of data-driven products, Services and Ecosystems *

*Dear colleagues, *
the International Conference on Software Product Management (ICSPM) closes the gap between research and practice and around the management of software in the age of data-driven products, services, and ecosystems. The international conference is hosted for the first time by the Software Product Management (WI-PrdM) group within the Management of Application Development and Maintenance (WI-MAW) technical committee of the German Informatics Society. Our goal is to facilitate exchange between scientists and professionals on the challenges and specifics of data-driven products or services and the solution pathways to address them. We aim to present the state of research and practice to jointly address the challenges of digitization, the novelty in the design of data-driven offerings as well as the flexibilization of value creation through ecosystems and many other topics is appreciated.

The conference welcomes previously unpublished (original) short papers (6 pages) and full papers (12 pages) without references. We are open to both *conceptual* and *empirical* papers. Each paper will be *blindly* *reviewed*. Accepted papers will be presented at the ICSPM event in Frankfurt. The conference proceedings will be published as part of the *GI Edition LNI **(C-ranked *according to*VHB-JOURQUAL3).*
*The core topics of the ICSPM are listed below: *
* Data-driven product and service strategies * Software architecture management (e.g. microservices) * Approaches to developing software in dynamic networks (e.g., DevOps, model-driven development) * Management of software platforms and platform-based ecosystems * Process management of data-driven products and services * Product management approaches to the implementation of digital twins, Internet of Things and AI-based systems * Design of digital and data-driven services (e.g., smart service engineering) * Management and design approaches to digitizing regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, energy) * Data-driven approaches to demonstrably increase sustainability goals (e.g., circular economy, repurposing and reuse) * Managing agile teams to realize value in data-driven projects * Introducing and scaling software product management in startups and SMEs * Other exciting contributions from the core areas of software product management (e.g., portfolio management, quality management, maintenance management, price management, test management, release management, security management) are also encouraged.
