Call for Book Chapters
|Blockchain in Supply Chain Digital Transformation|
Blockchain is assisting enterprises to digitally transform their supply chain management (SCM) activities. Anecdotal evidence suggests that blockchain and distributed ledger technologies (DLT) can lead to SCM benefits such as supply chain visibility, operational efficiency, supply chain traceability, supply chain resilience, and data security (Clohessy and Clohessy, 2020). Empirical evidence pertaining to how blockchain and DLT are achieving these benefits is scarce. Furthermore, it has been proposed that blockchain and DLT could possibly limit the impacts of global supply chain disruptions such as Covid19.
For this call for papers, we therefore invite chapters that describe how blockchain and DLT can contribute to real-world supply chain digital transformation. Ultimately, the goal of the book is to showcase use cases (downstream, upstream) from a range of industries to demonstrate the digital transformative capabilities of blockchain and DLT technologies.
