COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN BIOMEDICINE and HEALTH CARE within the context of the 4th WSEAS International Conference on Information Science and Applications (ISA' 04) 21-23 April 2004, Miami, Florida, USA

SCOPE: Advances in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have provided the tools and the environment to study, analyze, and better understand complex medical problems. This technological development has enabled researchers to provide increasingly advanced services, including Computer Assisted Radiology, Telemedicine, Robotized Teleoperating Systems, etc. In recent years, research in Computer Applications applied to Health Care has dramatically intensified. The Special Mini-Symposium "Computer Applications in Biomedicine, Health Care and Medicine" in ISA' 04 aims to provide a platform for researchers to present and discuss recent breakthroughs in these areas. All the accepted papers will be presented in a SPECIAL ISSUE of WSEAS TRANSACTIONS
