INTRODUCTION

The workshop is framed in the main conference topics, being this an exploration of the main topic (Business Informatics) applied in a specific area, healthcare. The main goal of this workshop is presenting innovative and exciting works and promoting the discussion about how the Intelligent Systems can contribute to improve the quality of the decision process in healthcare. This workshops involves all the topics associated to Business Informatics when applied to healthcare. The Business goal in Healthcare is increasing the quality of services in healthcare reducing costs. This objective contributes to improving the quality of life of patients, in some cases reducing mortality and morbidity. To achieve this goal, the use of intelligent system in the decision process becomes essential. This workshop is focused on demonstrating how to take advantages of using Computer Intelligence, ensuring interoperability and security, overcoming local and temporal barriers in order to support the society needs and the development of innovative systems and applications to support Healthcare decision support. ISA'Health 2016 will bring together the researchers who are working in the area of Intelligent System and Business Informatics. The cross-domain integration and appraisal of different fields related to Intelligent Systems and Applications provides an atmosphere to foster variety of perspectives and opinions.

TOPICS OF INTEREST

This workshop is looking for new and innovative ways to support the decision process in healthcare taking advantages from the use of intelligent systems and applications. ISA'Health is a good opportunity to researchers disseminate their contributions and presenting new and useful solutions to the community. Innovative and exciting works are welcome in the Healthcare are including but not limited to: o Business Intelligence and Data Mining; o Data and Knowledge Engineering; o Data Security and Protection; o Information Systems Integration & Interoperability; o Intelligent Decision Support Systems; o Intelligent System and Big Data; o Intelligent Systems and Applications applied to society solutions o Intelligent Systems based in Artificial Intelligence; o Intelligent Systems in the storage, update, and transmission of data; o Knowledge discovery, extraction and reasoning; o Life-styling solutions; o Mobile and ubiquitous solutions; o Multi-Agent Systems; o Pervasive Intelligent Systems and applications; o Semantic Interoperability; o Sensor-based systems; o Simulation Systems; o Standards for interoperability.

PAPER SUBMISSION

To submit a paper, please first upload an abstract of maximum 250 words, via: [1]https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isahealth2016. The full paper is required before May 9th 2016. The format of regular, position papers and case studies should follow the IEEE conference style: [2]http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Recommended paper length is up to 10 pages. Only PDF files are accepted. Important note: since the review process is double-blind, please make sure that your names and affiliations are not listed in the paper submitted for review. When submitting a paper, authors are expected to name the Track (optionally, two ordered Tracks) they feel most related to.
