The EurAsia-ICT 2002 Program Committee invites proposals for the Workshop Program of EurAsia-ICT which is held in the period 29th - 31st October 2002. The workshops are intended to provide opportunity to meet and discuss selected topics on Information and Communication Technology. Members from all sections of the Information and Communication Technology community are invited to submit workshop proposals for review. Workshops will be typically full day in length, although two-days proposals will be considered. Attendees at workshops must register for the EurAsia-ICT-conference.
Requirements for Submission:
- Title of the workshop - A brief technical description of the workshop, identifying specific technical issues that will its focus. - The names, postal addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the proposed workshop organizing committee. This committee should consist of at least three people knowledgeable in the technical issues to be addressed by the workshop. - The name of one member of the organizing committee who is designated as the primary contact. - Estimated number of workshop participants. - Length of the Workshop (minimum 10 papers = one day)
Timetable:
All proposals should be submitted by electronic mail to workshops@eurasia-ict.org in plain ASCII text as soon as possible, but not later than May 1, 2002. Organizers will be notified of the committee's decision one week after the submission.
Each workshop organizing committee will be responsible for producing a Call for Participation in the workshop and select the participants. The EurAsia-ICT committee will make the Call for Participation at the EurAsia-ICT homepage. By July 20, 2002, the workshop organizer must provide a list of workshop authors with names, addresses, and e-mail. The papers will be published by the Austrian Computer Society. The camera ready papers must be sent as postscript file by August 10, 2002. Each paper is limited to five pages.

The EurAsia-ICT Committee reserves the right to cancel any workshop if deadlines are missed, or if the number of registered attendees at the workshop is too low to support the costs associated with running the workshop. Detailed "Rules and Conditions" will be sent to one of the workshop organizers after the notification.
