E-business is heralded as the significant impact of the Internet Revolution. Enterprise computing provides businesses with new opportunities and unparalleled efficiencies. More and more enterprises utilize an ever increasing amount of data and documents that range from simple transactional data to complex business process definitions. Enterprise computing presents a variety of challenging problems in data and knowledge engineering, from product information management to ontological support for e-business and to business transformation outsourcing. This Workshop aims to provide a venue for discussion and exchange of ideas on data and knowledge engineering issues in the dynamic environment of e-business, enterprise computing, and business services and transformation.

---------------------------------------------- Paper Submission and Publication ---------------------------------------------- The official language is English and the format of the electronic copy can be Postscript, Word, or PDF. Authors are required to submit papers through the official Workshop homepage (http://www.cebt.re.kr/DEECS2006/).
New Paper Format - LNCS style: Because the proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series, authors are requested to submit manuscripts using the LNCS style. See www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html for style files and details. The suggested number of pages is 12, and the maximum number of pages is 15.
Notice: Any submission made prior to Jan/20/2006 but not following the LNCS format would be accepted for the review. However, if the paper is accepted, authors should change the format accordingly to the LNCS style and follow the page limit when they send the camera-ready.
---------------------------------------------- Review Process ---------------------------------------------- Each paper will typically be reviewed by three independent reviewers. As part of their evaluation, the reviewers will score submissions according to their contribution, originality/novelty, technical depth/merit, and quality of presentation. To facilitate the review process, authors will be asked to classify the paper according to a list of categories, so that the most appropriate reviewers could be assigned to handle the paper.
