---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 1st International Workshop on Personality and Affect in Multimedia Retrieval (PAMUR) in conjunction with ICMR 2015, Shanghai, China http://www.icmr2015.org/PAMUR2015 Submission deadline: February 10, 2015 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last Call For Papers ==================== In recent years, we have witnessed an increased amount of research work being carried out on various aspects of affective computing (e.g., affective labeling and retrieval, sentiment analysis from social media) and personality computing (e.g., personality-based similarities, personality-based user modeling). This work led to new corpora of MM content annotated with affective and personality features that have not been exploited thoroughly in multimedia retrieval so far. The workshop goal is to bring together researchers who that exploit these new aspects of multimedia for improving search and retrieval. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - affective analysis/labeling of multimedia content - acquisition of personality and affect for MM retrieval - relationship between personality and MM content through user preferences - personalized and contextualized retrieval or recommendation - affective- and personality-based multimedia similarity measures - affective- and personality-based user interfaces for MR - information visualization of affect and personality data - mood regulation through multimedia - evaluation of subjective satisfaction - human factors for MR and recommendation - datasets for affect- and personality-related retrieval/recommendation
We will seek opportunities to publish extended versions of selected papers through a journal special issue.
Submissions must be original and not submitted to or accepted by any other conference or journal. They should be prepared according to the ICMR 2015 format (ACM style) and must not exceed 6 pages. The reviewing process will be double blind. Therefore, authors must conceal their identity (no author names, no affiliations, no acknowledgment of sponsors, no direct references to previous work). The proceedings will be published in the ACM Digital Library. Each paper will receive at least 3 reviews by recognized experts in the field. Please use EasyChair to submit your manuscripts:
