We are making an effort to : develop legal and technical policies for CAs in different EC : environments as part of the Workshop mentioned above. The target : participants are academics, policy makers, technocrats and : practitioners. : : This Workshop aims to (i) brainstorm the concept of trust and the role : of Certification Authorities (CA)in EC environments in the context of : different social, cultural and economic environments, and (ii) develop a : framework for the role definition of CA sensitive to social, cultural, : economic characteristics of an EC environment.
