<bold><underline>EnCKompass 2002 Research Workshop Series
</underline></italic></bold>The 10th <italic>EnCKompass</italic> Workshop will be incorporated with the second International Conference on Systems Thinking in Management (ICSTM-2002), which will be held at Salford University NR Manchester (UK) 3rd - 5th April 2002.
All papers presented at the conference will subsequently be considered for publication in the following international journals:
Journal of Knowledge Management
Journal of Systems Research and Behavioral Science
Logistics Information Management Journal
Business Process Management Journal
Benchmarking: An International Journal
Journal of Intellectual Capital
For this event the Programme Committee encourages the presentation of research work under the following three mini- tracks:
<bold><italic>1)</italic> <italic><bigger>Relationship understanding</bold> <bold>and models for socially robust boundary systems</italic></bold><smaller> in multi-agent and multiple-accountability cooperative environments.
<bold><italic>2)</italic> <italic><bigger>Ontologies, models and metrics for sustainable distributed organisations</italic><smaller>;</bold>
heterogeneous modes of knowledge production, co-generation and co-learning; the architecting of spaces and structures for shared representation, organisational memories and knowledge integration.
<bold><italic>3)</italic> <italic><bigger>Systems to facilitate collaborative enquiry, navigation and negotiation within communities online</italic></bold><smaller>; frameworks for cost-effective e-content management and personalisation in e/m-learning, e/m-commerce and e- government applications; context-aware behaviour modelling and frameworks to facilitate customer managed relationships online.
Research papers submitted under the above mini-tracks and reporting work-in-progress or completed research programmes should be submitted by e-mail to <underline><color><param>0000,8000,0000</param>atta.badii@northampton.ac.uk< /color> </underline>by <underline>Monday 25th February 2002</underline>. Given the variety of complex and distinct research issues involved, research methodologies ranging from simulation-and-test to interpretive, critical and ethnographic are all equally welcome provided they are justified by the type of research challenges being addressed.
