Research and development in software technology is rapidly becoming important in area of mission critical industry such as transport, medicine or defense industry. The special session on Software Technology for Mission Critical Systems (STMCS 2012) will be a major forum for researchers and professionals to present their latest research, results, and ideas in all areas of mission critical systems. Its aim is to strengthen relations between industry, research laboratories, and universities.
* Scope: Original research contributions are solicited covering a variety of topics including but not limited to: - operating system support - middleware support - computer networks and communications - network centric operations environment - system and systems of systems engineering - software engineering - distributed and parallel computing and systems - modeling and simulation - human computer interaction - security - interoperability - computational intelligence - empirical, industrial and experience studies

* Submissions: All papers should be submitted by e-mail to conf12chair@gmail.com or stmcs2012@gmail.com for review (at least 3 pages, max 8 pages). Just focus on and express your research contributions to reduce the time for review process. Do not exceed 8 pages in LNCS paper format.
