NORDUnet Networking Conferences are prominent events in the Nordic networking community, bringing together networking specialists, researchers and users of network services. The conference offers an important opportunity to discuss requirements and plans for the future as well as learning about the latest developments. Many of the speakers are renowned figures in the networking community worldwide.

This year, the main themes include:

•     IPv6
  

•     GRID
  

•     Wireless networks
  

•     Security
  

•     Conferencing for collaboration
  

•     New architectures
  

•     Next generation networks
  

•     Community access
  

•     Global networking
  
  

New this year, in addition to invited speakers, is an open call for papers and posters on recent results that will be presented in a few sessions. Focus is not limited to the above topics and we encourage presentations of other problems and solutions related to the main theme of the conference.

Research papers and presentations: Submissions should be 800-1200 words abstracts summarising the contribution. All manuscripts must be written in English. The first page of each paper should contain: the title of the paper, the name(s) and affiliation of the author(s) as well as full address, e-mail and phone number of the author responsible for correspondence. In addition, the first page should include a list of keywords and main categories from the above list as well as a summary of up to 100 words on the main achievements presented in the contribution and the novelty of the work. The outline of the presentation must be clear from the abstract. It is recommended to have a paragraph outlining this at the end of the abstract. Authors that have been accepted can choose to submit a full paper if they wish. A limited number of research papers will be selected for the conference.

Final camera ready papers or abstracts (max 8 pages or 4000 words) June 15th

Tutorials (half day or one day): Tutorial day will be on August 27th. Submit a description of the tutorial before March 15th.

Working group meetings: Projects and working groups are encouraged to have their meetings before or during the conference. Further information on meeting facilities will be provided upon request.
