The Department of Accounting of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute (ATEI) of Thessaloniki and Rutgers Business School will host the 17th World Continuous Auditing and Reporting Symposium (WCARS) in conjunction with ICESAL 2009, in May 18-19, 2009, in Thessaloniki, Greece. XBRL: Implications for Reporting and Governance
In mid-2009 the International Journal of Disclosure and Governance will publish a special issue on XBRL and its impact on financial reporting and national and corporate governance worldwide. To accompany the special issue, the journal is hosting a mini-conference on XBRL: Implications for Reporting and Governance at the joint 6th International Conference on Enterprise Systems, Accounting and Logistics/17th World Continuous Auditing and Reporting Symposium that will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, May 18-19, 2009.
Conference Venue
All events will take place in the five-star Electra Palace Hotel, Aristotelous Square, Thessaloniki, Greece, on the 18th and 19th of May 2009.
