Well- : known examples are modelling schemes, architectures, coordination : languages, communication languages, standardisation, etc. Agent : technology is thus well on the way to become an important new approach : for the future design of large scale, distributed software systems. : : However, a breakthrough of agents can only be achieved if we also : learn to efficiently engineer, test, and maintain agent-based systems. : This requires a broad, in-depth discussion in agent-oriented software : engineering, wich addresses all phases in the software life cycle : from early design to implementation, system integration, test, and : maintenance. : : The workshop thus aims to stimulate the discussion on all aspects of : agent-oriented software management, including agent-oriented software : engineering. Of particular interest are case studies in engineering, : test and maintenance of multiagent systems, reports on experiences in : the development of agent-based systems, and descriptions of work on : the development / use of MAS design methodologies.
