CALL FOR PAPERS ISECON and CONISAR November 5-8, 2009 Washington DC http://isecon.org/
We invite you to submit a paper, panel, workshop or IS/IT teaching case(new) for consideration at this year's conference to be held in Washington DC on November 5 to 8, 2009. ISECON is THE conference to attend to learn about and contribute to the latest trends and issues in the IS field, such as model curricula, program accreditation, and emerging technologies. Held annually since 1982, ISECON is the largest continuously-running conference for IS Educators.
Potential topics for your manuscripts and presentations include:
- Capstone / Service Learning - Distance Education Challenges - Enrollment Trends - IS Integration with other Disciplines - Original Classroom Cases - Outcomes Assessment Techniques and Results - Pedagogy - Security and Assurance - Technology Changes on IS Education
Submission deadlines:
June 30 - consideration for: proceedings publication, potential publication in ISEDJ (Information Systems Educators Journal) and BEST PAPERS Awards.
July 31 - consideration for: proceedings publication and potential publication in ISEDJ (Information Systems Educators Journal).
August 31 - consideration for the conference proceedings.

Details on submissions to CONISAR may be found on the ISECON web site. Consider submitting a manuscript to both conferences. (Registration for the second conference is only $25.00 additional) New this year will be a PhD Symposium for soon to be IS educators as well as the solicitation of PhD papers and works in progress.
ISECON is managed by the Education Special Interest Group, and sponsored by the Foundation for Information Technology Education and the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP).
