========================================================= CALL FOR PAPERS: AMCIS 2009 Minitrack on "GENERAL AIS" 15th Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), San Francisco, California, August 6 - 9, 2009 ======================================================== Minitrack: GENERAL ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS Track: Accounting Information Systems (SIGASYS) ======================================================== Accounting information systems (AIS) research focuses on the link between accounting and information systems. It includes topics that range from IT governance to interorganizational information sharing. The AIS track will focus on design, usage, controls, models, processes, audits, querying, and reporting. AIS research draws from accounting, psychology, cognitive science, behavioral science, economics, politics, computer science, and information technology.
This mini-track includes all and any topics in the field of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) that are not included in the other more specialized mini-tracks. Suggested topics include: • systems integration, • IT governance, • risk assessment and management, • value of information systems, • information assurance seals, • global AIS, and • case studies.
--- Submission Process --- Full paper submissions must be made electronically through the AMCIS Manuscript Central submission system, by February 20th 2009. Papers should not exceed 5,000 words.
