GIKA started in 2012. Last edition, GIKA 2016, received papers by scholars from 67 countries, with a rejection rate of initial submissions to the GIKA Conference surpassing 52%. We are proud to announce the 7th GIKA Conference will be held in the University of Lisbon (Lisbon-Portugal). Other cities and countries may organize and hold future editions of the Conference. Feedback and Q&A sessions, including suggestions from editors of international journals attending the Conference, will help the authors publish their papers.

Journal of Business Research will participate in this 7th GIKA Conference by publishing two special issues comprising outstanding papers from the Conference. The special issues will focus on the following themes: Innovation, Knowledge, Judgment, and Decision-Making as Virtuous Cycles, and Quantitative and Qualitative Comparative Analysis, in business.

Psychology & Marketing will participate in this 7th GIKA Conference by publishing a double special issue.

We are also pleased to announce that, for the first time, International Review of Economics & Finance (Elsevier), Review of Managerial Science (Springer), the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal (Springer), Transformations in Business & Economics, Service Business (Springer) and Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja (Taylor & Francis) will participate in the 7th GIKA Conference (all of these ISI-ranked journals will publish a special issue from Conference papers).

Other international journals participating in GiKA 2017 are: Journal of Promotion Management (Taylor & Francis), Journal of Small Business Strategy, Contemporary Economics, International Journal of Export Marketing (Inderscience), International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research (Esmerald), Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science (Taylor & Francis), European Journal of Management & Business Economics (Elsevier), and Economies (MDPI).

Submission deadlines: All scholars wishing to present papers at GIKA 2017 must submit a full paper or an extended abstract by November 30, 2016. All scholars who have submitted only an extended abstract by this date must then submit the full paper by February 10, 2017.

Papers and extended abstracts are sent through GIKA website.
