ISPA 2006 The 2006 International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing and Applications (ISPA 2006)
December 1-4, 2006, Sorrento, Italy http://www.ispa-conference.org/2006/ www.ispa06.unina2.it --------------------------------------------------------------------
Introduction ============= Following the traditions of previous successful ISPA conferences, ISPA03 (held in Aizu-Wakamatsu City, Japan), ISPA04 (held in Hong Kong), ISPA05 (held in Nanjing, China), the objective of ISPA06 is to provide a forum for scientists and engineers in academia and industry to exchange and discuss their experiences, new ideas, research results, and applications about all aspects of parallel and distributed computing and networking. ISPA'06 will feature session presentations, workshops, tutorials and keynote speeches.
Scope and Interests ==================== The Conference invites papers on all aspects of Parallel/Distributed Computing and Networking, and their applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: " Computer networks " Network routing and communication algorithms " Parallel/distributed system architectures " Tools and environments for software development " Parallel/distributed algorithms " Distributed systems and applications " Wireless networks, mobile and pervasive computing " Reliability, fault-tolerance, and security " Performance evaluation and measurements " Grid and cluster computing " Internet computing and Web technologies " Database applications and data mining " High-performance scientific and engineering computing
Submission Information ======================= Submissions should include abstract, key words, the e-mail address of the corresponding author, and must not exceed 15 pages, including tables and figures, with PDF, PostScript, or MS Word format. Electronic submission through the submission website is strongly encouraged. Hardcopies will be accepted only if electronic submission is not possible. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.
