Although the prime role of CollECTeR centres is to : undertake research and consultancy both individually and as a network, the : workshop/conference theme has continued to be an important part of the : CollECTeR initiative since Brisbane. Further CollECTeR conferences were held : in association with the Australasian Conference on Information Systems in : Adelaide in 1997, Sydney in 1998, and Wellington, New Zealand in 1999. : : CollECTeR (USA) 2000 : The Fourth CollECTeR Conference on Electronic Commerce will be held on : Tuesday April 11, 2000 immediately preceding KR2000 (Seventh International : Conference on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning). Papers should be original and not previously published. All papers : will be reviewed by two members of the Programme Committee, experienced : researchers with extensive expertise in the area. Accepted papers will be : published in the Proceedings, which will be available, in CD-ROM form, at : the Conference itself; and from the CollECTeR web site, : http://www.collecter.org/. Additional copies of the Proceedings on CD-ROM : will also be available for purchase.
