Systems - an online, quarterly published journal on systems science and engineering - is one of several open-access, peer-reviewed journals published by MDPI; the list of these journals can be found at: http://www.mdpi.com/about/journals/. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations as indicated by several studies. The MDPI Editorial Board members, including several Nobel Laureates (http://www.mdpi.com/about/nobelists/), are all leading active scholars. All MDPI journals maintain rigorous and rapid peer-review, manuscript handling, and editorial processes. You may send your manuscript now or up until the deadline. Submitted papers should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We also encourage authors to email a tentative title and a short abstract of their papers prior to the paper submissions for approval to the Editorial Office at: systems@mdpi.com.

Article Processing Charges (APC) are waived for invited papers. However, a fee of 250 CHF (Swiss franc) may apply if major English editing of the papers must be undertaken by the MDPI Editorial Office. Authors, whose primary language is not English and who wish to avoid paying this fee, are encouraged to collaborate with native English authors or ask an English editing company to help with improving the language quality of their papers before submission.
