Distributed Ledger, Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality,
and Quantum Computing
A WTS 2020 INTERDISCIPLINARY WORKSHOP: TOPICS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
At Wireless Telecommunications Symposium 2020, April 22-24, 2020, Washington, DC, USA
WTS 2020 Technical Co-Sponsor: IEEE Communications Society
In a recent Accenture survey, Distributed ledgers, Artificial Intelligence, eXtended Reality, and Quantum computing (DARQ) technologies would have a transformative impact on business and society. We invite the submission of applied research papers to the first DARQ workshop, a WTS 2020 Interdisciplinary Workshop: Topics in Wireless Communications, on April 22-24, 2019 at the 19th Wireless Telecommunications Symposium, WTS 2020, www.cpp.edu/wtsihttp://www.cpp.edu/wtsi, which will be held in Washington, DC, USA. For further information visit https://www.cpp.edu/~wtsi/workshops.html
To compete and differentiate themselves in the post-digital era, companies will need to adopt a new set of emerging technologies. These new technologies will be an important catalyst for change in a world where every industry already has a large arsenal of digital tools. The key set of new technologies are DARQ. Each of the four technologies will be used individually by businesses across the economy to differentiate their products and services. This workshop will bring together experts from these progressive fields under one roof to discuss future emergence and convergence of these technologies.
Topic areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Artificial intelligence techniques and applications * Distributed ledgers technology * Quantum computing * Machine learning and deep learning * Virtual, augmented, and mixed reality * Case studies * Pedagogical approach
Paper Submission, Acceptance, and Publication:
Workshop papers should be submitted in the same manner as regular WTS 2020 papers and must meet the same acceptance conditions. Accepted and presented papers for WTS 2020 will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Paper submission guidelines are available at http://www.cpp.edu/~wtsi/paper_submission.html. Paper acceptance conditions and author registration instructions are available at http://www.cpp.edu/~wtsi/registration.htmlhttps://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http:%2F%2Fwww.cpp.edu%2F~wtsi%2Fregistration.html&data=02%7C01%7Csheybani%40sar.usf.edu%7C6a6bef5be7e642d2fc6e08d67b067612%7C741bf7dee2e546df8d6782607df9deaa%7C0%7C0%7C636831665005623544&sdata=bGA%2FftYD4A9bave6MJ6D3n%2F%2FrBk7WfYyelcU1cyfSoE%3D&reserved=0.
