Firms could enjoy the producing efficiencies of the markets and the operating efficiencies of the hierarchies at the same time. : With the great opportunities and unexpected threats that the emerging information technologies generate, firms have been experiencing the change of inter-organizational relationships. This mini-track will focus on the changes of inter-organizational relationship incurred by inter-organizational systems and also primary factors, development processes, and impacts of those changes. : Transaction cost economics, trust theory, and other relevant theories were the main ground to explain about the inter-organizational relationship in the previous researches.
