IEEE is implementing an Initiative on the topic of Internet of Things. The initial focus is in two areas:

* IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things Conference (WF-IoT 2014) -- 6-8 March 2014 -- Seoul, Korea - Original papers are solicited in the following categories: Technologies, Applications and Services, Societal Impacts, and related areas. - The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2013

* The IEEE Internet of Things Journal will start publishing in 2014. - The deadline for submissions to the inaugural issue is 31 October 2013 - The submission of review papers will be especially welcome.
