We especially encourage papers that potentially contribute to theory, based on real-world organizatinal experiences. Then main goal of this mini-track is to address the ever-widening gap between IS theory and practice. The explosion of new technology to enhance business value, e-commerce, and globalization via the World Wide Web are just a few of the events occurring in practice with relatively little theory developed to predeict or even describe these phenonena. The best papers will be considered for publication in the Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications (JITCA). The goal of JITCA is to publish quality research articles that provide ideas and information that practitioners can actually use. : : To obtain additional information about this important mini track, please check the following website: : : http://cc.usu.edu/~jjj/amcis/AIS2000.HTML : : Related correspondence should be directed to David Paper at dpaper@b202.usu.edu : : : ------ÿextPart_000_0059_01BF73CD.5621AA40 : Content-Type: text/html; : charsetÿso-8859-1" : Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable : : <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> : <HTML><HEAD> : <META contentÿext/html; charsetÿo-8859-1" http-equivÿntent-Type> : <META contentÿSHTML 5.00.2722.2800" nameþNERATOR> : <STYLE></STYLE> : </HEAD> : <BODY bgColorÿfffff> : <DIV>AMCIS 2000 CFP - Mini track on Research Cases in Information Technology : & Management</DIV> : <DIV>Long Beach California, August 10-13</DIV> : <DIV> </DIV> : <DIV>This is a reminder of an earlier call for papers that we posted a few weeks : ago. </DIV> : <DIV> </DIV> : <DIV>This mini-track provides a forum for research cases that explore strategic : and value-added management of information technology.
