A panel will further the discussion by taking a closer look at standards for library blockchain, legal concerns, security in libraries, and how to use blockchains to authenticate and preserve public discourse.
Concurrent sessions will cover applying blockchain technology to the information disciplines, such as healthcare, records management, and librarianship. Specific applications like using blockchain to extend community-based library collections and establish provenance and authenticity in the visual arts will also be discussed.
