Call for Papers, Focus Theme: Mobile Commerce
Dear Colleagues:
EM - Electronic Markets is a key forum for advancing the understanding and practice of electronic markets and commerce (http://www.electronicmarkets.org).
Guest Editor: Bharat Rao, ITE, Polytechnic University, New York
The rapid deployment of wireless infrastructure has created the technical backbone for an exciting range of global product, service, and business model innovation. While the wireless rollout itself has been tremendously successful in some parts of the world, it has met with substantial regulatory, economic, technical and marketing challenges elsewhere. In this special issue devoted to m-commerce, we invite papers that contribute to the broad area of wireless innovation, and its consequent implications for research and practice.
We welcome a variety of perspectives including empirical evidence, case studies, and theoretical frameworks that shed further light on this important area.

1. New business models in wireless m-commerce 2. Legal and regulatory issues in m-commerce 3. Development of and differences in the global wireless marketplace 4.
