Indeed, of particular importance : in this regard is the need to concurrently (i) attend to economic, : technical, human and organisational aspects of IT related change while : simultaneously (ii) accommodating the diverse influences of multiple : stakeholder groups with their respective forms of knowledge and expertise. : Failure to address these challenges is said to contribute to much IT : related underperformance and failure. : : This special issue of the Organization Development Journal is seeking : papers that address the challenge of integrated change in the context of : introducing, integrating, and exploiting IT in work organisations. Of : particular interest are papers that embrace a multidisciplinary perspective : on the challenge of integrated change. Such papers will ideally draw on : perspectives from the domains of strategy, organisation behaviour, : organisation development, and information systems engineering. : : Manuscripts should be limited to 10-12 double spaced pages in length (not : including tables, figures or references). Include an abstract of about 100 : words. All citations and references should be formatted to APA, 3rd edition : style. : : Articles that have been presented at a scientific conference are welcome : for submission, even though they may be published in non-copy protected : Proceedings. However, manuscripts being considered by another journal at : the same time will not be accepted. : : If accepted for publication, the author(s) will be required to submit a : final version of the manuscript on PC compatible disk or as an e-mail : attachment with a short biographical note and a photograph of the : author(s).
