You are invited to participate in the DIGIT 2001 Workshop in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, December 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott at 124 St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans (walkable from the Fairmont Hotel). The workshop is regularly attended by scholars interested in technology acceptance, adoption and diffusion. Advance notice of intention to participate is required to ensure space availability. Information on past DIGIT workshops can be found at the DIGIT website: http://www.mis.temple.edu/digit/default.htm

*** Pre-Workshop Dinner at Emeril's ***
On Saturday evening, December 15, a pre-workshop dinner will be held at Emeril's Restaurant at 6:00 pm. We will have a semi-private room. The dinner will feature a 7-course degustation menu (including a cheese course and a dessert course) so that we can sample a number of this famous chef's creations. The cost including dinner, wine, tax and gratuity is $125 per person. This dinner is only available to pre-paid DIGIT registrants, although each registrant may also bring a guest.
*** Registration Instructions ***
The fee to cover costs including refreshment breaks and lunch will be $50 USD. To ensure quality of the interaction, limited space (approximately 30 attendees) will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To register, please send email to larry.seligman@uc.edu with subject heading DIGIT 2001 registration. Please include the following information in your email:
1. Name, Title, Affiliation, email address, phone number 2. Intention to pay by check in advance or by cash at the workshop 3. Whether or not you plan to attend the pre-workshop dinner at Emeril's and the name of your dinner guest if you are bringing a guest.
If registering for BOTH the workshop and the dinner, send two checks: First, a $50 check payable to "U. of Cincinnati - IS Dept". Please designate this check for "DIGIT registration". Second, a check for $125 or $250 (for 1 or 2 dinner participants) payable to "U. of Cincinnati - IS Dept". Please designate this check for "DIGIT dinner". Both checks must be received by November 16, 2001.
If registering ONLY for the workshop, send a $50 check payable to "U. of Cincinnati CBA/IS Dept". Please designate this check for "DIGIT registration". The check should be received by December 1, 2001. As an alternative, you can pay in cash at the door on the day of the workshop if space is available. Sending the check in advance of the workshop will secure your place at the workshop.
