*Mini-track Description:*
The ability to take advantage of data analytics tools and AI technologies has become an important factor for firm success [1, 2]. With the availability of data with high velocity, volume, and variety, many firms have invested in business intelligence and data analytics tools and technologies to improve the quality of their decisions. However, firms also recognize the importance of human cognition, judgment, and behavior in developing, implementing, and using such technologies. For example, data analysts need to integrate aspects that are not captured by analytical tools, such as ethical principles and intuition into their analytics processes and decisions.
The focus of this mini-track is to explore and enhance understanding of the behavioral aspects of data science and analytics technologies. In particular, this mini-track focuses on perceptions, attitudes, beliefs, intentions, and behaviors related to analytics and their potential impacts on decision-making performance in organizational and social settings [3].
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
· Adoption of AI and analytics · User-centered analytics · Impacts of analytics on decision-making quality · Explainable AI and analytics
· Ethical aspects of AI and analytics · Trust in AI and analytics · Privacy implications of AI and analytics · Algorithm aversion
· Data analytics and technostress
· Data analytics and discrimination · Data analytics and cognitive biases · Data analytics and dissemination of knowledge within firms
