WITS 2016 Call for Papers http://www.usf.edu/wits2016
Dear Colleagues,
We invite submissions for the 26th Workshop on Information Technology and Systems (WITS 2016) to be hosted in Dublin, Ireland from December 15-16, at the Clontarf Castle Hotel.
WITS is the premier academic forum for the discussion of IT-driven solutions to complex business problems as well as societal issues. As WITS is a workshop, it encourages submission of papers that report on early stage of research and that will lead to interesting discussion at the workshop. We solicit papers that utilize any problem-solving paradigm, such as empirical, analytical, behavioral, experimental, or computational. With this year’s theme “Addressing Societal Challenges through Analytics”, we are particularly interested in submissions that address the world’s most urgent and challenging problems through analytics and other IT-based solutions. A few examples include technology-driven solutions to design smart markets in energy, using big data to design better urban transportation systems, social media analytics for health, technology driven agility and responsiveness for businesses, technology platforms for smart cities, and open-data initiatives as mechanism! s to address important problems in policy.
