About the Conference: ********************* We are amidst an information age where the rate of growth and complexity of data collected is growing exponentially fueling demands for effective and efficient information management, technology and systems solutions. Organizations today need to convert data into knowledge and blend it with sensing and innovation in order to generate intelligence and hence business value. With accelerating developments in information and communication technologies, there is a rapid change in planning, development, deployment and use models of information. Greater skills are required by providers and end users to harness the true potential of such technologies. ICISTM-2012 aims to bring together researchers, developers and practitioners from around the world in academia and industry for sharing state-of-the-art results and for exploring new areas of research and development in the knowledge economy.
Riding on the exceptional success and quality of the past five conferences, three times in India; once in Dubai; and once in Bangkok; the sixth ICISTM will be held in Europe for the first time.

Workshop and Tutorials: *********************** Proposals for workshops running concurrently with the main conference on specialized topics within the broad areas of information systems, information technology and information management are invited. Proposals are also invited for special sessions comprising five to seven papers on a specific topic within the broad areas of information systems, information technology and information management. Proposals for half-day tutorials on topics of interest are also invited.
