Track 8: Internet and Information Society
Call for Submissions
ECIS 2002 will be held in Gdansk, Poland, June 6-8, 2002. Submissions
are invited to the track on the Internet and Information Society (Track
8). The following list contains examples of suitable topics.
- Global Internet infrastructure
- Internet and social/organizational change
- Virtual communities development
- e-democracy
- e-government
- eEurope, eEurope+ and other national and international programs
- Social and economic consequences of Internet applications
- Digital divide
- Internet legislation in different countries

This list is by no means exhaustive and papers on related topics are
invited. Questions concerning the track should be submitted to
eindor@post.tau.ac.il.
Significant dates for the conference are:
Submission deadline: November 15, 2001
Notification of acceptance: February 15, 2002
Submission of final version: March 18, 2002
Conference: June 6-8, 2002
