CALL FOR PAPERS � PAIST JOURNAL
"International Journal of Principles and Applications in Information Science and Technology (PAIST)"
PAIST is a refereed international journal focussing on critical issues in information sciences and technologies. The current issue, a special issue containing extended versions of selected papers from the 7th Applications and Principles of Information Sciences (APIS) conference, is in press will be published on-line soon. We are currently seeking contributions for issues due for publication in 2009. For the next round of review, papers must be received by the PAIST Editorial Board no later than September 5th, 2008. All submitted papers will be double blind peer reviewed.
AIMS AND SCOPE
The International Journal of Principles and Applications in Information Science and Technology (PAIST) is an international journal for the publication of articles that contribute new results in all areas of information science and technology. PAIST is intended as a broad research forum for professionals, academics and students across all fields of computer science and engineering, including programmers and software and hardware manufacturers.
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers relevant to (but not limited to) the following topics:
(1) Computer Science (2) Communication Networks and Security (3) Multimedia (4) Ubiquitous Computing (5) Real-time and Embedded Systems (6) Operating and Storage Systems (7) Software Engineering (8) Databases (9) Practical Experiences
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Prospective authors should submit full papers in English, comprising no more than 12 pages in the specified format. Accepted formats for submission are soft copy in MS Word, PDF or PS file formats. Authors are asked to submit papers in the LNCS format (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html) via e-mail to the editor in chief, Dr. David Parsons, at d.p.parsons@massey.ac.nz or leeko2002@empal.com. Please ensure that all author identification is removed from papers submitted for review.
