The Symposium Advances in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (AAIA’06) will be held in conjunction with the First International Multiconference on Computer Science and Information Systems, which in turn is co-located with the XXII Fall Meeting of Polish Information Processing Society. The conference will be held in Wisla, Poland, November 6-10, 2006.
The AAIA’06 brings computational intelligence researchers, developers, practitioners, and users. The aim of AAIA'06 is to serve as a forum to present, current and future work as well as to exchange research ideas in this field.
Covered topics include but are not limited to: · Data mining · Knowledge management · Neural Networks · Evolutionary Computation · Machine learning · Fuzzy modeling and control · Architectures of intelligent systems · Image processing and understanding (interpretation) · Natural Language processing · Applications in Bioinformatics
PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION - Papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific merit and relevance to the symposium topics. - Papers presented at the symposium will be included into the Conference Proceedings and published on a CD (with an ISSN/ISBN number). - Extended versions of selected papers will be published in (1) Advances in Soft Computing series of Physica-Verlag Springer, (2) in Journal of Applied Computer Science – JACS (http://ics.p.lodz.pl/old/jacs.html) or (3) in a Special Issue of additional journals that will be announced shortly. - Papers (as Postscript or PDF files) are not to exceed 10 pages (LNCS style).
