*OVERVIEW*
The 20^th International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD2011) will be hosted by Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. The venue will be the new Postgraduate Centre on the Riccarton Campus. The theme of ISD2011 is "Reflections, Challenges and New Directions".There will be a number of new and well established tracks in the systems development field. These will include (but not limited to):

·Software Processes, Methods and Models
·Sociotechnical Issues in Organisations
·Web and Mobile ISD
·Issues in ISD Education & Training
·E-learning within ISD
·IS/IT Project Management
·ISD Business Model for Digital Goods
·Agile and Lean Methods
·Knowledge Management in ISD
·Database Design and Technologies
·Human-Computer Interaction in ISD
·New and Emerging Issues in ISD
Suggestions for alternative Tracks / Themes will also be considered, and suggestions should be forwarded to ISD2011@hw.ac.uk mailto:ISD2011@hw.ac.uk .
The language of the conference will be English and we invite full research papers (4000-7000 words) as well as industry project reports (2500-4000 words), work-in-progress papers, and position papers.
All submissions will be blind-reviewed by an international programme committee. Springer Science and Business Media are contracted to publish the proceedings.
